Any Tips on Falling Asleep Faster?

It takes me about 4 hours to fall asleep every night. Leaving me with 2-3 hours of sleep each night. I have a 16 month old daughter and can't afford to sleep in. Anything I can eat before sleep? Stuff I shouldn't eat? How do I get my body to relax? And how do I get my mind to stop thinking about everyday things?

Suggestion:

1. Bedroom usage

The bedroom should be used for only two things, sleeping and ***, so get rid of the TV or computer, keep music soft and quiet – it doesn't need to be classical, just don't want to be dancing around kind of music…

2. Bedroom set up

Make sure it is dark, not too hot or cold and not excessively noisy if you can help it…

3 Relax

Do some relaxation techniques. Two of my favourites:- close your eyes, tense the muscles in your toes, wiggle and relax; then repeat (mostly – not all need wiggling) with feet, lower legs, thighs, abdomen etc etc The other is to close your eyes then imagine yourself in a certain scenario – ones that are popular include floating on a cloud or walking in a rainforest or walking along a beach…

~take a warm bath
~drink warm milk/tea
~exercise/dance for fun (to make myself tired)
~listen to soothing songs

if it doesn't work, consult a Doctor

hey!! easiest method………….take the physics ,chemistry , biology….etc….,text….take any one …immediately you open it , you will soon fall asleep…..believe me I am telling you my experience….. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY SLEEPING PILLS….

Before you go to sleep read a book with the main light off with a not-so-bright lamp beside you. This usually helps me:)
