Tarot cards serve many functions. One of the most useful is their ability to help us focus or meditate. In general, meditation involves focusing the mind in order to reach a level of relaxation, concentration or sense of presence. There are many types of meditation methodologies and Tarot cards certainly can be useful for many of these practices. Not only can they enable one to focus on specific life lessons or intentions, meditations with the Tarot can certainly help you develop a richer relationship to your Tarot cards. More importantly, meditations with the Tarot can deepen your interpretations of the cards.

Tarot readings offer powerful spiritual lessons. They truly are one of the most resourceful spiritual tools available today. They offer advice, teach us about ourselves, and help us to develop self-confidence. They can also help us to focus and visualize. To really understand how we can implement the Tarot in all areas of our lives, we need to know them intimately. Meditations on the Tarot can do just that.

When learning to read Tarot cards, it’s always useful to gather as much information about each individual card as you can. Remember, that every card has a distinct story and meaning. Each card depicts a character or characters that represent individual temperaments and dispositions. As we meditate on these, we can find ourselves relating intimately with these personas. We can gather strength from them. We can also learn from them. In the end, the Tarot can teach us about our very natures.

This is a great meditation exercise that can be used with Tarot cards. I often use this exercise when I am performing Tarot readings for myself. Because it’s much more difficult to remain objective while reading for myself, I will utilize this meditation method to gather as much meaning as I can from the cards themselves.

Begin by establishing a space that is quiet and safe. You may sit or lay down.

Pick a card from the deck or use one of the cards from your readings.

Visual grasp everything you can from this particular card. Note its colors, imagery and characters.

Close your eyes and see this image in your mind. Imagine it expanding, becoming larger and larger until it fills the room.

Now, imagine that you can step into this image. Visualize yourself becoming part of its image.

Once you have achieved this, it’s time to let your mind start wandering. What are you feeling? What are the characters doing? How are they interacting?

When you feel comfortable, visualize yourself interacting with the characters. What might you say to them? What might they say to you?

When you feel as though you have received all the information you need, you can slowly pull yourself out of the image. Allow it to shrink back to its normal size and when you feel ready, open your eyes.

Now for the most important aspect of this Tarot meditation. Write your experience down. If you have a Tarot journal, this is the place to describe your experience. Be as detailed as you can. You may want to write about your emotional process or simply just dot down what you discovered within the card.

You can practice this exercise when ever you feel the need or simply want to know more about a particular card. One thing that is important to note, is that your experiences will change over time. What you experience with one card may be a totally different experience on another day. They key is to stay present with your discoveries as they reveal a great deal of information about yourself at a particular time. [removed][removed]

Are you interested in meditation, but don’t feel that you have the time to actually learn how to mediate? Maybe you feel like you could benefit from meditation but aren’t sure how to work it into your hectic schedule? Luckily, meditation doesn’t require that you dedicate hours to practice in order to receive fantastic benefits.

Even the busiest person can learn to meditate and benefit from the calming effects of this ancient practice. Here are some easy ways to learn and incorporate meditation into your life, no matter how busy you are!

1. Take Mini-Breaks Throughout the Day

You don’t have to spend a lot of time meditating; in fact, you can get benefits in as little as five minutes a day. When you wake up in the morning, lie in bed for a few minutes and breathe deeply. Focus on your breathing and let all your other thoughts come and go.

You can also take small breaks throughout the day to practice some meditative breathing. The next time you’re stuck in traffic, waiting for an appointment or just sitting at your desk, close your eyes and focus on your breath. For just these few minutes, let the stress of the day go.

2. Learn to use Affirmations

Affirmations are phrases that you use to help you handle stressful situations. These phrases don’t need to be complicated, they just need to be reassuring to you. You might say something like, “I can handle this; everything will be okay.” It doesn’t matter what you say, just as long as you find it helpful and calming.

You might feel silly doing this at first, but stick with it and you’ll start to feel more comfortable. And, while it is helpful to say them out loud, you can also say them to yourself. The important thing is that you can hear your own voice as you talk. Over time, you’ll find this is a helpful self-calming technique.

3. Practice Walking Meditation

Most people connect meditation with sitting quietly and focusing on your breath. While this is certainly how many people meditate, it’s not the only way to achieve inner peace. In fact, walking mediation is practiced by many people around the world. When done properly, it can be every bit as calming as traditional meditation. As with all meditation, when stray thoughts enter your mind, acknowledge then dismiss them.

To do this you simply need to focus on the physical sensations of walking. Start by paying attention to how your feet and legs feel as you move. Notice the sensations of your arms swinging back and forth as you take a step. And, of course, focus on your breath as you walk.

When practiced regularly, meditation can relieve muscle tension and mental exhaustion. And, you don’t have to have a lot of time to benefit from meditation. Take small breaks in the day to breathe deeply or practice walking meditation. No matter how you do it, meditation will help you deal with the stress of life in a more positive way.

Buddha Siddhārtha Gautama denied God: How can he possibly be enlightened?

Meditation as claimed by Buddhists has a purpose to look into the universe and comprehend. But they have nothing comprehended. They live in the darkness of their cave of ignorance.

Why did the first Buddha Siddhārtha Gautama deny God completely and commanded his followers, now three hundred millions in the world, not to pray to God?

But Buddhist today ironically take Buddha for God and worship him, make for him temples, offer him sacrifices, invoke his name for help and guidance.

They prostrate unto the statue of Buddha who is shaped in a standing position, sitting position and lying down position.

They worship and kneel down for a stone that does not talk to them. They prostrate unto an idol who does not even hear them or see them.

They seek the advice of a dumb and stupid Buddha who has missed the very truth of all truths namely the existence of God. How can Buddha help them? He is well buried in his darkness.

Buddha denies God but he takes his place. He did not want to but Buddhists wanted to.

Can there be more ignorance than this?

Looking into the universe by means of meditation would definitely lead any reasonable mind to a God creator. But Buddha rejected God, and rejected a creator for the universe.

If Buddhist meditation seeks illumination and enlightenment then Siddhartha Gautama and his three hundred millions of followers must have been the most blind living not in enlightenment but in abysmal darkness and ignorance.

Where is the illumination of Buddha?

Where is the enlightenment of Buddha?

His is in the darkness of his own conjectural thoughts, in the darkness of his erroneous heart, in the darkness of his faulty soul.

How can a man pretending to wisdom and peace and love miss the most important source of wisdom, peace and love: God?

God as the creator of Buddha and his followers is rejected by the enlightened Buddhists, the wise Buddhas.

Why should not Buddhists simply admit they are atheists, and full ones at that?

Where is light without God?

Avoiding stress in your day to day life is a kind of impossible task. You work hard all day; you need to manage your home, work, kids, family, groceries, bills etc. trying to get everything done within just twenty four hours. So it is bound to happen that you feel burdened and tired. Maybe avoiding stress is not possible. But it is very much possible that you decrease your stress and tension. Guided meditation is a new scientific method of meditation which helps patients to release stress and relax. You already must be familiar with the benefits of meditation. New techniques and methods such as guided imagery are also largely helpful. In this guided imagery method, you need to look at some objects or pictures or even real life sceneries like a beach, waterfalls, clear blue skies, green meadows etc., when you see such images, your mind calms down. Your metabolism goes down and your whole system gets a break. This method has been even approved by doctors.

Along with guided imagery, take the help of relaxing sounds or music. Try MP3 healing meditation. You must know that some tapes are available which are specially designed to release stress. Instrumental music or some naturally recorded sound like the chirping of birds or free flowing water or the sounds of rain falling on the roof or ground, all this will help you imagine all these blissful sceneries. When you do that your mind relaxes, your breathing slows down and your blood pressure gets lowered. This method is called MP3 healing meditation.

Guided meditation works the best when you are in a room which is more or less noise free and dark. Lie down on your back and close your eyes. At the end of the day you become very tired, so try closing your eyes and forget about your problems. Breathe slowly and deeply. Try guided imagery with your mind’s eye. This will allow your system to shut down and prepare itself to fall asleep. When this happens, you would wake up in the morning totally refreshed ready to face another day.

Muhammad up to the age of forty

Muhammad before his Prophethood

Up to the age of forty, Muhammad was not known as a statesman, a parson a spokesman or a lecturer. He was never seen discussing the principles of metaphysics, beliefs, moral principles, ethics, law, politics, economics or sociology.

His Pagan people knew that he possessed an excellent personality, pleasant manners and He was well known as an honest and a trustworthy man. His people used to call him the trustworthy honest man.

Nevertheless, there was nothing in his manner of life that would make his people expecting something great and revolutionary from him in the future.

Muhammad after the age of forty

At the age of forty, the Angel Gabriel revealed unto Muhammad the first seven verses of the Quran which are:

1) “Read (O prophet Muhammad) in the name of thy lord and cherisher, it is He who created,

2) Created man from “Alaq”.

3) Read! And thy lord is most bountiful, is the most generous,

4) He who taught (the use of) the pen,

5) Taught the human what he did not know.”

Since then, Muhammad has completely transformed.

Logically-wise, it is not possible for such a person of the above qualities to turn all of a sudden into a liar and claim that he is the Prophet of Allah and stimulate all the wrath of his people against himself.

His people offered to accept him as their King, to give him all the money he wants, to give him all the noble women he wants to marry them and he would leave the preaching of his religion. But he chose to refuse their tempting offers and go on preaching his religion single-handedly in face of all kinds of insults, social boycott and even physical assault by his own people.

Muhammad stood like a mountain in the face of all opposition and conspiracies to eliminate him

Muhammad was but a human being. He was a man with a mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of One and Only One God and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of God. He always described himself as, “A Servant and Messenger of God”.

—————————————————————–

This article presents what Mahatma Gandhi, Thomas Carlyle, Diwan Chand Sharma and Encyclopedia Britannica said about the Prophet Muhammad

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869 –1948) was the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian independence movement. He was the pioneer of mass civil disobedience, a philosophy firmly founded upon total nonviolence—which led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. Gandhi is commonly known around the world as Mahatma Gandhi or “Great Soul”. He is officially honored in India as the Father of the Nation; his birthday, 2 October, is commemorated there as Gandhi a national holiday, and worldwide as the International Day of Non-Violence.

Speaking on the character of Muhammad, Mahatma Gandhi says in (Young India):

“I wanted to know the best of one who holds today’s undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind….I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet’s biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.”

On the other hand, Diwan Chand Sharma, a Hindu scholar wrote [in his book "The Prophets of the East," Calcutta 1935, p. 122.],

“Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him.”

—————————————————————–

Thomas Carlyle (1795 –1881) was a Scottish satirical writer, essayist, historian and teacher during the Victorian era. He called economics “the dismal science”, wrote articles for the Edinburgh Encyclopedia, and became a controversial social commentator.

On Heroes and Hero Worship and the Heroic in History also accorded a key function to heroes and great men in history. Carlyle centered history on the biography of a few central individuals.

Thomas Carlyle, in his book (Heroes and Heroworship), was too amazed to say: “how one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades.”

—————————————————————–

The Encyclopædia Britannica is a general English-language encyclopedia that is regarded as the most scholarly of encyclopedias.

Articles are aimed at educated people, and written by about 100 full-time editors and more than 4,000 expert contributors.

The Encyclopædia Britannica says:

“….a mass of detail in the early sources show that he was an honest and upright man who had gained the respect and loyalty of others who were like-wise honest and upright men.”

Isochronic beats, which are more commonly known as isochronic tones, are an exciting technology which may be able to dramatically enhance your life experience. This article takes a look at some of the most compelling reasons for making isochronic tones a part of your daily life.

What are isochronic tones anyway?

First of all, let’s take a brief look at what these things actually are, for those who aren’t familiar with them. Isochronic tones are a type of brainwave entrainment technology. Brainwave entrainment, which is also known as brainwave synchronisation, refers to the tendency of the brain to match or entrain to a repetitive stimulus of a particular frequency. Sounds are one example of such a stimulus.

The brain naturally produces brainwaves, which fall into various frequency bands, and can be measured with an EEG machine. Different frequencies are associated with different mental states and abilities – for example, the alpha brainwave state (8 – 12 Hz) is linked with light meditation and a sensation of relaxation.

By using a brainwave entrainment recording which is designed to trigger the production of brainwaves of specific frequencies, many people find it easier to enter different mental states that will.

Isochronic tones have been shown to be an especially effective form of brainwave entrainment, although they are not yet as well-known as other types of brainwave stimulation technology, such as binaural beats.

People use isochronic beats for various purposes, and they’re becoming increasingly widely used. Here are three of the main reasons why isochronic tones are so popular:

1. They’re incredibly versatile

Like other forms of brainwave entrainment, isochronic beat recordings can be used for a huge variety of purposes. These include overcoming insomnia, reducing anxiety, exploring altered states of consciousness, developing psychic abilities, having out of body experiences, increasing confidence and creativity, and many other reasons besides.

Basically, if the state or ability you want to experience is linked with the production of brainwaves of a specific frequency range, it is possible to construct an isochronic recording that may be able to help to induce this date more easily.

2. They can be used almost anywhere

Since isochronic tones are available on CD or as downloadable MP3s, you can listen to them anywhere. And unlike binaural beats, you don’t need to use headphones either (although it is preferable to do so if possible).

Many people like to listen before going to sleep in the evening, or to carve out a specific time during the day for using their entrainment recordings. It is certainly good to develop some kind of routine, just as with any form of meditation, but if you have to travel for some reason, it’s good to know that you can take your isochronic recordings with you, and you don’t need any special equipment other than a simple MP3 player in order to use them.

3. They’re very effective

A third reason why this technology is becoming so popular is that isochronic tones have been found by many to be more effective than binaural and monaural beats in many cases. This is a result of the nature of the beats themselves, which consist of very clearly defined sound pulses which are separated by a distinct interval of silence. It appears that the brain entrains more efficiently to sounds of this type, as opposed to the less clearly defined waveforms of binaural and monaural beats.

So, if you’ve been curious about using isochronic beats, you might want to go ahead and try them out for yourself – after all, nothing beats firsthand experience!

Islam, Christianity and Judaism

The Evangel and the Qur’an And the Torah represent the three principle books of the divine message.

The main doctrine in these three Books proclaims oneness of God, creator of the universe.

The three texts proclaim the worship of God and the love of God. God is the helper of His servants and humans ought not take other than God for object of worship.

The difference between the Torah and the Qur’an on the one hand and the four Books of the Evangel is that the two former texts acknowledge one and only unique indivisible God, while the Evangel recognizes one God in Trinity namely God the father God the son and Holy Ghost.

The Trinity is rejected by both the Torah and the Qur’an as blasphemy and not congruent with the reality of the divine message which proclaims the oneness of God.

The Qur’an rejects totally the idea of the Godfather as blasphemy and the idea of sonship of God as blasphemy. The Qur’anic text rejects totally also that the Holy Ghost Gabriel is part of the trinity.

In Islam there is one and only invisible eternal unique God. The idea proclaimed in the Evangel that Christ is God Himself is regarded as terrible wrong and deviation from the truth. The Qur’an negates the idea of crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Christ, according to the Qur’an was never crucified nor was he killed by the Romans. But Christ was put to death by God, resurrected and was brought up to God. The idea of crucifixion is a blasphemy.

The Qur’an warns against such a blasphemy and the punishment will be on the day of judgment where the eternal abode will be for those who believe in God as Christ or that Christ is the son of God.

The Qur’anic text denies totally that God has begotten a son. Christ in the Qur’an is another man just like Adam created by the command of God as a son without a father given to Mary.

The Evangel on the other hand denies any other religion than Christianity to be true and considers any other religious messengers as false.

In this the Evangel shares with the Torah this perspective and hence Islam is a false religion and that Muhammad is a false Prophet. The Torah does not consider any other religion but the Hebraic religion as true and all other religions as false.

The Qur’an acknowledges Psalms of David, the Torah and the Evangel and the Qur’an as part of the one and same message of God to mankind.

The religious conflict between the Jewish community, Christian community and the Muslim community is traced directly to the belief system in each of these religions.

Manque of any evidence in support for any religious belief system leaves the believer the freedom of deciding for himself his own belief system.

In our view, there is more plausibility for the belief system in both Judaism and Islam of the oneness of God and the non-plausibility of the Christian doctrine of Trinity, or the plausibility of a God who was crucified by few Roman soldiers.

If you do not like to worship God through rituals of the faith or to visit churches and temples, meditation on God is a good alternative. If you are unable to speak directly to God, meditation on God is the solution. If you do not find a proper relationship with God, then meditation on God is meditation on the shortcut path. If you find your friendship with God is not calm, then God meditation is a spiritual medicine.

What God meditation or meditation on God? Meditation is a practice emphasis on a sound, object, visualization, breathing, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and encourage personal and spiritual growth. Meditation is the practice on the way to the interior finishes in the yoga itself. Meditation is the art of practicing withdrawal of thoughts and thought of becoming disconnected from the physical world in mind.

Meditation on God is the continuous flow of a thought of God. God meditation is to completely close the worldly thoughts and only think about God. Meditation on any object or living being to be supernatural in this world is not meditation on God. Considering God in meditation inside beyond its subtle at all and live in the universe is God Meditation. Considering God can be formed, can not be spoken in any language of man is God meditation. Considering God is omnipresent and omnipotent, and continues to exist when nothing was in existence in the universe is meditation on God. Meditation on God is the creator of all the prophets of all religions of this world and unknown subtle world. Meditation is God is the creator of all living beings and things of this world and unknown subtle world.

After realizing that God meditation, the question is how to meditate on God? It is true that without a true understanding of God, any practice of worship in a religion or meditation of God remain unsuccessful. The right way to meditate on God is to focus on the character of the true God.

What is the character of God must be taken into account in meditation? First character to be taken into account in meditation on God, it is for all living beings in this world and the unknown world in the endless universe and is the creator of all by himself in the past is the creator of all, the creator in the present and is the creator of the future. Second nature to be taken into account in meditation of God is that God is real and informed is infinite and eternal seed of energy, wisdom, and love and all kindness. Third nature of God to be taken into account in the meditation of God is the true God is not affected by time and will always exist in the current and complete. Fourth character must be taken into account in meditation is that the true God is eternal and static central source for all and forever is calm and visionary. Fifth character must be taken into account in the meditation of God is that everyone in the universe is expanding and it is God in it.

Mind Confronts Matter II

How did an object become an object?

If the term ‘tree’ is omitted from our communicative reference it becomes a non-recognisable object. We use the reference to denote a specific object subject to specific system of communication. We have no idea how an animal can recognises a tree.

Whenever we see an object that has a trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, fruits and roots we can refer to it as a ‘tree’. The whole subject of observation recognised by our sensual-mental system in terms of form and colour becomes inexplicable. There is nothing in the term ‘tree’ that makes it a ‘tree’ except our identification system.

Our agreement on a linguistic reference allows us this recognition. The terms ‘arbre’ and ‘baum’ are communicative among those who are Francophony or germanophony who happen to use these terms to refer to what they recognise as a ‘tree’.

What makes a tree a tree? It is our common awareness. Our experiences with the tree in terms of physical, mental, psychological and spiritual awareness allow for the communicative recognition.

This awareness and hence recognition depends on our mutual consent to denote the object of observation as such. We can mechanically describe the mechanism of identification and to a certain limit.

Here the term ‘identification’ is used in its most artificial reference which is simple awareness and hence recognition by repetition of image-impression impact, which is stored in the memory.

The naked eye stimulating a mental response identifies the ‘tree’ as such through repetitive means of communication.

However; the impact of the ‘tree’ image on our senses does not in any way explain the object itself. It only denotes awareness of its face-features.

The ‘tree’ reduced to its material elements lose immediately its form and colour to become a non-identifiable structure of enigmatic atoms impossible de identify in terms of presence, structure, origin, controlling laws and application of these laws to produce and keep the final product.

For a ‘tree’ to be a such it is submitted to myriads of structures, laws, order, physic-chemical-biological processes that permit the change in a definite life-cycle.

In the same way any object can be reduced to systems of structure, form and colour subject to birth, development, change and disappearance.

This appearance-disappearance allows the object to be recognised by human faculties and is recognised as ‘presence’ or being’. This relation needs a mind to recognise and an object to be recognised.

The recognizing-recognized system itself is a mysterious system where the recognising element namely the mind and the recognisable which is the object are both no recognisable in terms of their presence, structure, origin and finality.

The finality of recognition is only a convenience to share, but the ultimate finality which is the purpose of a thing or an object to exist at all is inaccessible. Neither the mind nor the object of recognition is in the domain of accessible identification.

In the final analysis, the ‘tree’ (as an object symbol reference) and the ‘mind’ (denoting a human being) lose their identity and become inaccessible to knowledge, whether empiric, scientific or otherwise.

Whatever arguments we offer still are on the level of the two enigmas: Mind and Matter.

Ultimate Knowledge is Inaccessible

We may rightly assume that reason leads to the ‘inaccessibility of ultimate knowledge’. Our basic premise is based on ‘what is’, or what seems to be ‘is’, depending on our subjective perception of it. Objectivity demands our perceptibility of what is represents reality.

In other words, does our quest for knowledge unveil our ignorance? If reason is our tool of investigation then we are limited to its conditions. For no one can tell, until now, about the nature, the presence, the origin and finality of any object constituting the universe, whether in unison or in concert with other objects. If we accept this perspective then we are confronted with a ‘ignorance’ attainable only through knowledge, or what seems to be knowledge.

Our present state of knowledge, whether scientific or otherwise, with all its progress does not permit us to attain ‘ultimate knowledge’ that remains unknown. Science today has not unveiled the enigmatic nature of things, the universe, its presence, its constituting phenomena and the mystery of life.

If we accept the limits of knowledge then the significance of this assumption emerges. The argument here is not to create a problem but to acknowledge the problem. No knowledge can pretend to truth. We live in a universe (about 13.3-20 billion years) as enigmatic as our recent presence within it ( about 9-8 million years).

Our approach is not that of nihilism or of scepticism or of suspensionism nor is it of reductionalism or determinism, neither of doubt or estimation nor of justification, nor is it of fatalism or solipsism. But it leads rather away from certainty verging on uncertainty and ultimately to belief and agnosticism standing in opposition. Facing the universe finalizes, according to this outlook and lack of evidence, in a subjective personal choice.

Whatever we are facing, identified as object, phenomenon, or a thing, we are in constant wondering about the how and the why of its presence.

Should this lead to a ‘state of knowledge’ or a ‘state of ignorance’ the attempt is worthwhile.
