Daughter Claims to Be Seeing & Hearing Things?

my daughter is 15 and she cant sleep ( mainly at night) without rocking side to side until she falls asleep. She says its b/c if she lays still that sometimes she will hear a voice and see a tall black shadow. She says that it last only few seconds but can feel like a min. She also said that when it happens it is like her body becomes paralyzed. She said that she can't close her eyes or move an inch or speak. btw i know it is not the house b/c we have moved 3 times b/c we had to for work and it happend in each house.she said that if she rocks sleep so that it will go away. she told me that she once was to tired to rocka nd that it came back and does and that rocking is the only way to keep it from hapening.
