Islam, Christianity and Judaism
The Evangel and the Qur’an And the Torah represent the three principle books of the divine message.
The main doctrine in these three Books proclaims oneness of God, creator of the universe.
The three texts proclaim the worship of God and the love of God. God is the helper of His servants and humans ought not take other than God for object of worship.
The difference between the Torah and the Qur’an on the one hand and the four Books of the Evangel is that the two former texts acknowledge one and only unique indivisible God, while the Evangel recognizes one God in Trinity namely God the father God the son and Holy Ghost.
The Trinity is rejected by both the Torah and the Qur’an as blasphemy and not congruent with the reality of the divine message which proclaims the oneness of God.
The Qur’an rejects totally the idea of the Godfather as blasphemy and the idea of sonship of God as blasphemy. The Qur’anic text rejects totally also that the Holy Ghost Gabriel is part of the trinity.
In Islam there is one and only invisible eternal unique God. The idea proclaimed in the Evangel that Christ is God Himself is regarded as terrible wrong and deviation from the truth. The Qur’an negates the idea of crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Christ, according to the Qur’an was never crucified nor was he killed by the Romans. But Christ was put to death by God, resurrected and was brought up to God. The idea of crucifixion is a blasphemy.
The Qur’an warns against such a blasphemy and the punishment will be on the day of judgment where the eternal abode will be for those who believe in God as Christ or that Christ is the son of God.
The Qur’anic text denies totally that God has begotten a son. Christ in the Qur’an is another man just like Adam created by the command of God as a son without a father given to Mary.
The Evangel on the other hand denies any other religion than Christianity to be true and considers any other religious messengers as false.
In this the Evangel shares with the Torah this perspective and hence Islam is a false religion and that Muhammad is a false Prophet. The Torah does not consider any other religion but the Hebraic religion as true and all other religions as false.
The Qur’an acknowledges Psalms of David, the Torah and the Evangel and the Qur’an as part of the one and same message of God to mankind.
The religious conflict between the Jewish community, Christian community and the Muslim community is traced directly to the belief system in each of these religions.
Manque of any evidence in support for any religious belief system leaves the believer the freedom of deciding for himself his own belief system.
In our view, there is more plausibility for the belief system in both Judaism and Islam of the oneness of God and the non-plausibility of the Christian doctrine of Trinity, or the plausibility of a God who was crucified by few Roman soldiers.
