It is common to have a feeling of anxiety and panic once in awhile because it is our body’s natural response to certain events. Others also develop a fear of dying or even going mad. Individual attacks usually last for a few minutes. This greatly varies because for some, these attacks last longer.

You may also have certain anxiety attacks. Anxiety is a feeling of unease. The feeling of unease can range from mild to severe, and can include feelings of worry and fear. Certain extreme or irrational fear of an animal, object, place or situation or even post traumatic stress can trigger anxiety.

Simple panic episodes may cause you to become scared or frightened, but they are not dangerous. Aside from this, the number of panic attacks that a person encounters would depend on the severity of his or her condition. Some people have several attacks in a week, while others have monthly attacks.

It is best to seek help or medical advice especially if the person involved has recurring attacks that disable their activities. This is the first step to be done before even changing his or her lifestyle and completely avoiding certain places or situations.

A person who has panic disorder attacks may fear certain public or enclosed places such as elevators or airplanes. When this person encounters an episode, he would feel an urge to leave the current place or scene in a hurry.

Because of this, it could greatly have an effect on the person’s lifestyle and job. It restricts what he or she can do and limits his activities. These factors can become a cause for a person to have even magnified anxiety. These can also make a person feel generally scared of any future attacks that may come.

Panic disorder attacks can result to a change in a person’s personality and relationships as well. This is why it is very important not to ignore this condition.
