Now for the role thinking plays in all this. First of all know that for a fact, you are using your thinking processes at all times, even if on a subconscious level. You may not be aware of it but your are. We use many different modalities in the thinking process, depending on whether we are more visual, auditory or kinesthetic (tactile), or auditory digital which is self talk). If you are in this category, as I am, you are a self talker. You’re always talking to yourself or others in your head and out loud!. I talk to my dog, to myself, to the plants, to the wall. The point is we use all these various modalities to some extent, but will always use one in particular as our primary modality.
Why is this important you say? Bare with me, please. Utilizing your thinking process and incorporating it into your weight loss regimen can greatly improve your chances of success, but also make it that much easier to do. And indeed, it can even speed up the process. But you have to have a little understand of the mechanics behind how your mind works, how you think and actually create your reality. So here’s what you need to know! You may remember that I said thinking alone does not work.. Nor will visualization. What’s the missing ingredient? How do you think yourself thin? Well, the key is feelings. And passion! What actually creates your reality intentionally, is not just thinking about your desire, but thinking about it with feeling. Feelings are the real key behind creation, behind the manifestation of your desires.
So to achieve success in weight loss or any other area for that matter, put some feeling and passion into your intentions. Visualize your desire with feeling. Better still incorporate your primary modality into it. More on this in the next and fourth article in this five part series.
