That's what I've used and it really works.
Suggestion:
Try putting a flashlight and a favorite book on your nightstand, then if you wake up you can read until you feel okay, then you can fall asleep.
Or, try keeping a dream journal, keep your journal near by with a flashlight and pencil/ pen. Write down what woke you up, then shut it, and tell yourself *I'm done thinking about that* It helps a bunch.
