These devices are something that has to be placed in your mouth it helps by adjusting the position of you jaw and tongue in such a away that they are positioned forward stopping the tongue from falling back into your throat when you are sleeping causing obstruction of air flow. But these devices are not extremely comfortable and you should be willing to put up with the uneasiness.
