Now before you embark on self hypnosis, write down your goals in life. Now it is very important to be very specific, because if you list down things that are vague and too general in nature, you would be thinking about a lot of things when trying to focus. So be very specific. That would be very easy for concentration and focus. When you have chosen a particular goal (you can focus on two at a time), start thinking of how to achieve this goal. Write them down. Read and reread them. Add more ideas on how to attain these aims. Imagine yourself achieving these goals and basking in the glory of being able to do it. Think of it as a true occurrence. Reinforce that truth in you, a future truth. Then, concentrate on these goals and start speaking about them and the ways to achieve them in a low tone of voice. Slower at first and then ascending to your normal voice. Focus all your concentration on the words you are uttering. Now, repeat this exercise but this time look for a very quiet place, an area conducive to self hypnosis. Also make sure that the quiet area is also comfortable, devoid of any type of disturbance. And when you feel that it is the right time, apply deep breathing and relax, the kind of inner relaxation one falls into when in a deep slumber in a forest.
