Your body simply cannot function correctly without enough water. Almost every single one of your bodies functions relies on water in on way or another. Water helps your organs stay in tiptop shape and it distributes nutrients wherever they are needed. When your body is dehydrated it sends a distress signal out to your brain. Many times people run around doing so much stuff that a lot of times people don’t even realize that they are dehydrated. Studies have shown that up to 75% of Americans are dehydrated on a regular basis. Most people do not make a conscious effort to try to drink 8 glasses of water every day. These people are often thirsty and they don’t even know it. A lot of the times people mistake being thirsty for hunger.

Lack of water in your diet can definitely be a panic attack cause. The great thing about this is that there is a REALLY easy fix. I bet you can guess it… Drink more water! Drink a lot of water and drink it often. Once you start to feel thirsty it’s very likely that you are already dehydrated. Don’t wait just make sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day and you should feel your anxiety subsiding.
