Suggestion:
unfortunately, unless you resort to some form of stimulant such as caffeine or one of the sports energy drinks, the best you can do is resort to a timer: set your timer for 15min and do your work until it goes off. set your timer for 10min and rest during that time – if you know how to, then do a power-nap; if you don't, then just rest with your eyes closed until the timer goes off again. every third session, replace the 10min rest with a brisk outside.
it's not ideal but hopefully it will allow you to maintain focus while impaired by sleepiness – forcing yourself to stay awake and plow through a marathon homework session will likely leave you with stuff you'll read the next day and think "WHAT was i on when i wrote this!?"
